Conservation

o   Remedy the section on Vernal Pools that derogates from the Conservation Bylaw.

o   Revise the section on Inland Banks to align with the definition in the Zoning Bylaw.

o   Update the GIS layers to include the buffers to Wetland Resource Areas to help provide guidance of which properties are located in Conservation Jurisdiction.

o   Prepare a map that depicts the various low elevations within the Town of Chatham.  The Climate Action Committee has been attempting to determine the most likely future locations of salt marshes and to do so they should have the mapping of these elevations.

o   Prepare a study that estimates erosion that may result in locations that are suitable for salt marsh establishment.

o   Propose bylaws and regulations that increase protection of these areas based on the current sea level.

o   Provide support services to the group monitoring the water bodies in the town.
