Prepare guidance for town projects.
The 40b projects being proposed should have replica historic structures. Namely, the Historic Commission should be consulted and provide data on historic structures lost to demolition. If the 40bs include replicas of these lost treasures then the projects will be more beneficial to the Town than the rather bland, Anytown USA designs provided.
Prepare a map that depicts the recently created probabilities of storm inundation data.
o Propose bylaws and regulations that increase protection of the current floodplain and the future floodplain.
Update the sightline triangle bylaw to relate to the pavement rather than the sidelines of the roads. Create different sizes of triangles based on the speed limits of the roads.
Research the Town Clerk Books for the Road Layouts hidden within. For a period of time, the Town recorded road takings with the Town Clerk. Several have been recovered but there are many that can be expected to be recovered.
Modernize the cemetery records for existing and future burial plots.
Perform studies to determine the actual occupancy of the Town’s resources:
o Moorings / boat slips
o Parking spaces / areas
o Beach capacity
o Waterways capacity
Perform studies for optimal traffic flow during the summer months and during popular events.
